THE NOTAPE FOUNDATION
The NOTAPE Foundation is the backbone of NOTAPECoin. Acting not as a ruler but as a foundation for growth, it enables NOTAPECoin holders in the NOTAPECoin DAO to build upon it.
The Foundation is the cornerstone of decentralized, community-led governance, and is designed to evolve into an increasingly decentralized entity. It manages the day-to-day administration, project management, and other essential tasks, ensuring that the visions and ideas of the NOTAPECoin DAO community are supported and realized.
The mission of the NOTAPE Foundation is to nurture the growth and development of the NOTAPE ecosystem in an equitable and inclusive manner. It oversees the Ecosystem Fund, controlled by a multisig wallet, to fund its operations as directed by the NOTAPECoin DAO and provides an infrastructure for NOTAPECoin holders to engage in open and permissionless governance.
THE DAAO
The NOTAPECoin Decentralized Anonymous & Autonomous ('DAAO') is the heart of our decentralized governance, playing a crucial role in managing a globally dispersed community and, by extension, the success of the NOTAPE ecosystem.
Through the NOTAPE Improvement Proposal Process (refer to Governance), members of the NOTAPECoin DAAO will have the power to make decisions regarding Ecosystem Fund allocations, governance rules, projects, partnerships, and more. Membership in the NOTAPECoin DAO is open to all NOTAPECoin holders, except for ape NFT owners.
THE BOARD
The Autistic Council of the NOTAPE Foundation, acting on behalf of the NOTAPECoin DAAO members, provides oversight and guidance to the NOTAPE Foundation. Their role is to reflect the vision of the NOTAPECoin DAAO.
Their responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

It encourages third-party developers to become part of the ecosystem by integrating NOTAPE in their services, games, and projects.
NOTAPECOIN ALLOCATION
The total supply of NOTAPECoin is fixed at 1 billion tokens, with no provision for minting more. The supply is also immutable, as there's no mechanism for burning tokens.
Reflecting standard practices, a portion of the tokens for contributors to the project will initially be locked, unlocking over 48 months starting from the launch date, as per the schedule detailed below.
